Every guest is responsible for wearing appropriate clothing. The organizer has the right to cancel the tour two hours before the start due to bad weather conditions. In the event of a cancellation, 100% of the tour price will be refunded. There is no chance of any further compensation.
The itinerary is designed so that safety standards are the first priority. Only a short part of the tours are on the street. Before the tour starts, you will be introduced to the bikes and have an opportunity to become acquainted so you feel comfortable before setting off. Guests will also receive a brief overview of the itinerary and some additional safety information. Helmets are not compulsory but are possible to rent.
All our guides speak English. If you want a translation of the main parts of the tour to another language, please let us know in advance so we can schedule the appropriate guide to your tour or book a private tour.
Before we start our tour, everyone has enough time to drive the bikes in a safe space to get used to them. The electric-assist only works while you are pedaling and makes the driving experience really easy and smooth. Check out our Youtube channel for more insight!
The cargo bikes are licensed for two adults, one driver and one person sitting in front. Kids under the age of 12 years are allowed to sit next to an adult in front of the bike.
The prices are for persons older than 12 years. Children under 12 years pay CHF 59 on the Swiss Culture E-Bike Tour (Eat & E-Bike Tour: CHF 119). Guests who are older than 99 years are our guests of honor and do not pay anything.
